5 Reasons Why Languages Are Important🌏 ~なぜ言語は大切なのかその5つの理由~

By Ron from EIGLOBE Language is more than just words—it’s how we connect, express ourselves, and understand the world. Whether spoken, written, or signed, languages shape our thoughts, cultures, and relationships. But why are they so important? 1.🗣️Communication Language is the key to everyday life. It helps us share ideas, ask for help, make friends, and solve problems. Without language, human connection would be almost impossible. 2.🎎Culture and Identity Each language reflects a unique way of life. Learning a language opens the door to traditions, stories, music, and values that make a culture special. It also helps people feel proud of their identity and heritage. 3.🧠Learning and Growth Languages train […]

私が英語を学ぶ理由 -Why I study English-

By Chihaya, Student at EIGLOBE I’ll write about why I study English. It’s simple. I want to become stronger. My parents like traveling. I grew up hearing their travel stories. So, I was always interested in things overseas since I was a child, and my parents want me to go to many countries. But I’m so shy. When I was a teenager, I used to not talk with classmates or with store clerks. I used to not answer phone calls to avoid talking with someone. I also didn’t like studying… lol. Back then, I always said, “I can’t speak English. So, I can’t go anywhere yet.” 》 However, I’ve […]
日本に住むアメリカ人の悩み -What is it like for an American to live in Japan?-

By Sage Panter from EIGLOBE It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are, living in a foreign country is full of challenges. I am American and I live in Japan. I am going to talk about the challenges I have personally faced since I moved to here. The 1st challenge is… being a foreigner. America is referred to as a “melting pot” country. A “melting pot” is a pot that has many different ingredients inside that melt together. When a country is called a “melting pot” it means a country with many different types of people inside that live together. So, growing up in America, I was used […]
Sushi Blog

Sushi // 寿司 Sushi is probably the most popular Japanese food in the world. It is a VERY good dish and some countries even slightly changed it to match their culture! Eating sushi in Japan was a new experience. When I first came to this country, people complimented me on my ability to use chopsticks. I was kind of confused because I often went to sushi restaurants in Canada and it was normal to me. But, even though it is a very popular dish worldwide, many people in Japan are always surprised that people from other countries can use chopsticks. “Wow! You can use chopsticks!”, “上手!”, “You’re good at using […]
